As a full-time Email Marketing & Automation Expert - Hubspot at First Page, you’ll develop, own, and implement email marketing strategy, dedicated to our largest high-growth client. Leading a team of Email Pros, you will strategize, develop, execute, and measure e-marketing campaigns in collaboration with our client and marketing teams. 

Our ideal candidate has technical expertise with Hubspot [or similar marketing automation tools]. 

This position requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. This role is at the forefront of activating data-driven client journeys and requires a hybrid of skill sets, which include: test instrumentation, marketing strategy, and client advocacy. You will create “always-on” client journeys to enhance the client’s ability to connect with various segments of the market to bring client journeys to life.

Background in email marketing for technology companies is a bonus!!



  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies in Hubspot to automate and optimize customer journeys, increase customer loyalty and engagement, improve retention and reduce churn through transactional based email strategies vs. traditional marketing email strategies. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Marketing, Design, Product, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics, SEO, Content, Outreach, Social, Brand, and PR teams to develop cross-channel campaigns that increase organic traffic, links/shares, and revenue


  • Own the entire email process including, but not limited to: content calendar creation, campaign building, campaign execution, advanced automated flow set-up, proofing, and deployment. 
  • Manage day-to-day creation, execution and optimization of abandoned cart, lead nurture, content newsletters, onboarding and retention email campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with the client and marketing teams to ensure successful integration of marketing automation as part of the overall client experience
  • Leverage dynamic content and smart rules to improve, and optimize customer journeys 

Analytics and Performance 

  • Establish and monitor KPIs and provide performance analysis, including recommendations to improve outcomes  
  • Monitor journey and campaign execution metrics, tracking and analyzing performance to generate insights to share back with cross-functional teams focused on client engagement 
  • Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results 
  • Proactively research, test, and apply best practices to improve marketing automation performance
  • Create, configure and test automated marketing campaigns and workflows through audience segmentation, email content, timing, analysis and A/B testing
  • Responsible for creating and managing email templates
  • Define and implement new platform features and integrations to successfully deliver and improve marketing automation and reporting capabilities 

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of Email  Pros to achieve goals, increase effectiveness, build a positive team culture, and support team members’ growth plans and professional development. 
  • Ability to balance effective delegation to your team with the willingness to jump into tasks yourself when something needs to get done


  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies designed to increase customer loyalty and engagement, improve retention and reduce churn through transactional based email strategies vs. traditional marketing email strategies. 
  • Collaborate with client and development teams to migrate data parameters from current email platform to Hubspot and set up integrations for email automations
  • Set-up and implement proof of concept tests for new email automations and successfully implement across all markets 
  • Lead rebranding efforts from an email perspective, working with Brand team to develop new email flows and migrate current email flows to new branding guidelines + overseeing implementation
  • Support new product launches  for our clients with creative email  campaigns


  • At least 5 - 8+  years of previous experience developing and implementing email strategy, including demonstrated expertise working in HubSpot
  • In-depth working knowledge of HubSpot, Marketing Automation or similar marketing automation tool (Required)
  • Understanding of email marketing operations, technology, platforms, databases, email architecture, email regulations and privacy rules is required  
  • Inbound and outbound marketing experience and a demonstrated understanding of how email contributes to other marketing channels and larger business goals
  • Experience integrating best practices for email to create more effective content and drive high-growth results
  • Experience leveraging dynamic content to support A/B and multivariate testing across digital and traditional channels  
  • Working knowledge of API integration a plus  
  • Strong data processing, and data management skills, with proven ability to define and act upon data-driven insights  
  • Ability to navigate Analytics and comfort with pulling and analyzing metrics to determine the success of content initiatives
  • Superior problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and strong process documentation abilities
  • Previous experience managing team members, leading with empathy, purpose and tact (required!)
  • Strong organization, project management,  and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy / quality
  • Technology-savvy, with the ability to learn quickly and juggle tasks in ClickUp (our PM tool), use mobile as necessary, and effectively use Zoom, Slack, and other online tools
  • A flexible attitude at a small, growing team as team and responsibilities internally shift
  • A willingness to be part of a fully remote team and care about who you work with on the other side of the computer — participation in team building video calls/events, Slack conversations, etc.


  • The annual compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000
